In-House GP Appointments

Whether your loved one is receiving nursing care, dementia care, or residential care from us, they will still need regular GP appointments to monitor their health.

At LuxuryCare, we are proud to be partnering with Haven Medical, a private GP Practice in Canford Cliffs, Poole, to provide in-house GP appointments for all our residents across all our homes.

This makes their life easier as they don’t have to worry about leaving the care home to see a doctor or wait an extended period for an appointment. It also allows you to rest assured that your loved one is getting the medical attention and care needed.

The Role of Our GPs in Our Care Homes

We have partnered with Dr Bill Johnson, who will visit each of our care homes across Poole and Bournemouth once a week to provide medical clinics for our residents.

These clinics will include appointments for:

  • On-the-spot medication dispensing
  • Drawing of blood for blood tests
  • Writing and renewing prescriptions
  • Referrals to NHS and private healthcare

In providing these services at our care homes, following a set schedule and routine, we hope to speed up diagnostics and treatment with the ultimate goal of improving our residents’ quality of life.
